Baby Photos

Here at MBP, we like to feature great baby and kid photos from groups on flickr. This week we picked a group called Best Candid Photos of Children.

Best Candid Photos of Children is described as “a place to showcase your favorite, absolute best candid photos of children. These are the photos that you take without special lighting, the ones that happen in the moment and when you see them you realize you have captured something special! Please limit your posts to your absolute BEST candid shots of children!!”

The group is administered by moms and photography aficionados Michelle, Mina, Jackie and Kelly. They all have quite a nice collection of photography in their own photostreams. Don’t forget to check those out too!

Best Candid Photos of Children has nearly 1,800 members and over 16,000 photos. A fun photo contest drives the discussion group where you can vote on your favorite submission and have it featured in flicker river, on the home page of the group, and don’t forget the bragging rights and kudos from all the readers.

They run several contests each month and encourage entries on many different themes. Some recent themes were:

• Kids Learning
• Childrens Expressions
• Kids in Mirrors
• Copying the Grown Ups
• Kids with Electronics
• Big Smiles
