One design features a pregnant cartoon lady whose hair color and skin tone can be tailored to match your shower honoree, and includes a spot for an ultrasound image. With a huge selection of birth announcement styles from elegantly traditional to stylishly chic, you’re sure to find the right fit for your little bundle. (They also offer holiday cards and other party invitations.)

You may choose card sizes 4×6 or 5×7, and even order an 8×10 keepsake print. This makes a great gift for the mom-to-be: a keepsake print of her invitation for her scrapbook. Parents, you’re sure to want the keepsake print of your baby’s birth announcement for his/her memory book. All cards are printed on premium photo paper. Matte is standard, but you can request glossy. Also available, coordinating return address labels!

If you prefer, purchase the design and print the cards yourself. You pay for only the design. The digital file is then sent to you so that you may print as many as you like where ever you like. What a perfect option for us procrastinators! Just be aware that envelopes are not included with the print-it-yourself feature.

Imperfections in the photos are removed at no extra charge, so don’t worry about that pesky red-eye, or the mommy-to-be acne. It is requested that you send the photo in the largest file possible with no cropping or editing for best results. You may mail in the photograph if you don’t have it in digital format or don’t have access to a scanner.

Estimated Shipping Times

A digital proof will be sent after you send the photograph and choose your text. Turn-around time for getting your proof is 1-2 business days. If you need to make changes, editing time for proofs is 24 hours or less. Once you’re satisfied, the order is sent to be printed. For a fee, you may choose rush printing and/or rush shipping for orders needed quickly.

Pricing

Happily Ever After Designs has the most affordable prices I’ve seen online: 4×6 size is $.79, 5×7 size is $.99 (both include envelopes and require a minimum order of 25 cards) and an 8×10 keepsake print is $9.99. If you choose the print-it-yourself option, you pay $19.99 for the design. Don’t forget the coordinating address labels: you get 30 for $3.99.
