My oldest son just had his 6th birthday. We had a great time and Gerald received lots of gifts. So when it came time to write 20 thank you cards, we figured out a creative and economical way to do it with email.

Two Remote Controls? Perhaps he will share with his brother.. 

Many people view email as impersonal, it actually turned out great for us. We took pictures of Gerald smiling and holding up each gift he received.  In the email we attach the photo and have a cute personal quote from our son thanking each guest.

This type of thank you email is highly viral. We have found that friends forward the email to several people to show off.
