Photo Bug Baby brings us a friendly little set of monthly baby contests with categories to appeal to all parents. These contests are not high profile and corporate by any means, and I find that refreshing. What they lack in big money prizes, they make up for with good chances of winning small prizes from family focused online merchants that sponsor the contest. One thing I like about this contest is the main contest is free (first submission each month is free). And if you want to submit more photos, there is a only a nominal fee of $3 for a set of 5 photos. I entered my son Charlie’s picture from a chocolate binging episode he got himself into while we were all asleep. His picture was entered in the 3-5 year division.

I’m looking forward to finding out if he won on November 1.. There were 58 entries in the 3-5 year division. So my chances are not that bad compared to those bigger contests with thousands of entries. There are 11 contest divisions with something to appeal to everyone. You can enter by gender and age. Some of the most popular divisions are Overall Mini Supreme for boys and girls and a Overall Grand Supreme winner. Here is the complete list of divisions:

Deadline for the contests is the 27th of each month. Prizes are provided by sponsors and vary each month. Prizes range from free t-shirts to $20 gift certificates at websites like My Miracle Baby. Reminds me of myself at that age.

Privacy

Privacy is a big deal for contests at Photo Bug Baby. Per the contest rules, “The privacy of all children who enter is considered sacred. Your child’s identity is highly protected when entering Photo Bug Baby. Their info is given to no one.”

Grand Prize Drawing

Lastly, all entrants are eligible for a grand prize year end drawing on December 1. Check website for details. Overall, I really like this contest. It has plenty of chances to win with many different categories to choose from and with winners every 30 days and typically a small pool of applicants, you can have a good chance at the thrill of winning and the suspense will definitely not kill you! If you are looking for big money prizes this is not the contest for you. But, you can enter for free and there are no aggressive sales tactics that some contests might subject you to.
