Introduction to Belly Painting Photography and Art

When photographing a belly painting, if possible, photograph the painting process in addition to the finished project. This will likely be a memorable experience for the mother, and documenting the entire process will be something she will treasure for years to come. Also shoot the process and finished painting at various angles. Be sure to capture the details with close-ups and the total painting.

If the mother chooses to have her belly painted by a friend or family member, also capture their expressions and involvement in the process. Children painting their mother’s belly can be particular sweet to photograph.
