Play Sounds from your iPhone that Attract your Baby to Look at the Camera
Our little Spencer (4 months) has recently been awakening to his environment. He has a deep stare that penetrates you as if he is taking in every detail of your face. He is also now reacting to specifc sounds of his brothers and certain toys.
From a photography standpoint, this is good news because we can now get his attention. But Spencer is very specific about what he will respond too. It can be a real challenge to get his attention for a photo. Many times he will just look the other way despite all the embarassing baby noises we make in public to get him to look at the camera.
This is why I was thrilled to see an application for the iPhone called IBaby Photo Pro. The application has been programmed to emit sounds that attract the attention of your baby. Sounds include: other babies laughing, Xylophone and squeaky toys. After you select your baby’s favorite sound, iBaby Photo Pro will start your camera automatically to take a photo. Meanwhile, the sounds start playing that are designed to get your baby to look right at the camera!
Not only will you get some great baby photos, your baby will be amused for hours with the noises your iPhone will make! The application was developed by iPhone developer Andrew Weekes. You can find the application at the iTunes store for $1.99.
