When selecting the text you want to use, an accompanying guide offers helpful links for: grammar advice, wording help, etiquette advice, shipping overview, calendar and help center. You can also find these features in the customer care section.

If you have the time and creativity, you may purchase blank stock or print-your-own invitations. Most of these papers are suited for laser printing, so ink-jet users beware. The prices for blank stock are not much less than custom printed selections so consider carefully.

Choosing fonts is made easy with a font sample guide. The photo uploading process is quick (of course this depends on your computer speed).  I uploaded a 300 dpi photo in just under 60 seconds.

As for customer service, live chat is available if that’s your preferred means. If you favor the phone, call the toll free customer care line. Customer service is accessible immediately during the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and until 5:00 p.m. on Friday. If you need help outside of those hours, you may e-mail and expect a response within the next business day.

Shipping

As previously mentioned, for fast turn-around, Invitation Box offers quick ship options. Printing time is generally 2-3 days. The printing facility is in North Carolina, so a map shows the shipping estimate for each area. When using Invitation Box, my most recent order arrived in 2 days after shipping (I live in Alabama).

Return and cancellation policies can be tricky when dealing with personalized items. I found Invitation Box policies to be generous. If they make a mistake, they work quickly and courteously to correct it. If you make a mistake with text or photo, a 25% discount is offered to reprint the order. The rules vary based on time and custom printing.

Price vs. Value

The prices for custom printed invitations/announcements are between $40 and $65 for 20 invitations including blank envelopes. Add ons like recipient address printing cost more, but again, I find if my time is limited, its worth the extra cost. The quality of the finished product is outstanding. I’m extremely particular and have been delighted with my orders. If you’ve never used an online source for printing, this would be a quality place to start.
