The sheer volume of scrapbooking products available can be overwhelming for novice and advanced scrapbookers starting a baby scrapbook. From big-box chains that carry your more mainstream products to small independent retailers that carry more boutique lines, it is easy to become lost in all the pretty paper and embellishment options.

Here are a few of my favorite manufacturers and some of their best lines for baby scrapbooking:

Making Memories- Animal Crackers collection: This collection offers both a boy and a girl version and it has everything including paper, chipboard letters, epoxy stickers, regular stickers, journaling pads of paper, ribbon, albums and more. I LOVE it and have double and triple of almost everything it offers. I think it is the best baby scrapbooking collection out there.

DCWV - Nana’s Nursery: Like the Animal Crackers line, Nana’s Nursery offers both a boy and a girl collection, with a lot of embellishments. It is very versatile and really sweet.

Creating Keepsakes Kit of the Month- Sweet Baby kit: This is available only online, but if you are looking for one kit with everything you need to create a beautiful first year album for your baby, this is it, hands down. Everything is double sided, so you can. Here is a video of me going through the components of the kit, which I made a few months ago.

Aimee J- Baby Papers: If doing a full out album from scratch is a bit overwhelming, but you want something more than a traditional baby book, I recommend checking out Aimee J’s paper packs for the easiest baby scrapbook on the market. The pages all come with lines for writing and room for a few photos. Everything comes together very quickly.

Hambly Screen Prints: While Hambly doesn’t offer a full baby line, it does offer adorable onesie transparencies in a variety of colors, as well as cute animal and holiday rub-ons. It also has a huge selection of vintage inspired transparencies that make beautiful accents on baby pages.

Sassafras Lass: Bright colors and sweet characters, often animals, are the signature style of Sassafras Lass, making it a great manufacturer to go to when looking for products that work well for baby and kids albums. I am in love with their new Bungle Jungle line that released this year.

Fancy Pants: Like Sassafras Lass, Fancy Pants signature style is bright! I love their products and often find myself buying entire collections.

Cosmo Cricket: Fun designs created with vintage inspiration, Cosmo Cricket products are perfect for baby layouts. As a mommy of a little boy, I particularly like the Cogsmo line.
